Montefalco Sagrantino Wine Trail

Montefalco and its "Red Gold": Sagrantino Wine

Per person from  Euro €120,00

Overview

Explore the medieval town Montefalco, hike up and down the hills and learn about the art of making the most prestigious wine in Umbria directly from the farmer, on this amazing ENOSAFARI adventure through the vineyards.

Montefalco is the heart of Sagrantino, the Master of Umbrian Wines. Thanks to its location, on top of a hill and protected by walls, Montefalco inspired passionate travelers searching for the figure of Saint Francis. So poets and religious people gave Montefalco the name of "Ringhiera dell' Umbria" (The Balcony of Umbria). It has the extraordinary ability to draw together art, Franciscan spirituality, and landscape altogether in harmony. This hiking tour will take you to explore that and more. You'll have the opportunity to walk through the famous Sagrantino vineyards and taste it, along with some local products at our friend's winery farm. Let's celebrate with a toast. Salute!
